Wonderful Wednesday

Trying to keep the Joy of the Lord formost, not allowing Dr. Cail and Kim the nurse rob me of my job. Why they don't like me is beyond me. Why would someone lie about someone else? How strange, I can't conceive of this. I am blessed that my manager knows me well enough to recognise I would not have said what they said I said to a patient. People are very strange. I want to love doing my job and be happy going in daily. Sometimes you just gotta go to earn a paycheck. I sure like my car, what a blessing it has been. Oh well off to work I go.

October Home Again

I house sat for my little Brother and sister in law for a week. Feeding and playing with their dogs. Their home is very clean and neat. I rather think I like mine better, well I should hope so. My home isn't neat and clean as a pin or totally ordered but is fairly straightened out. I enjoy and feel comfortable here. Well nested. A break makes me appreciate my "own" little place. I must admit I totally enjoyed the cable tv, that was great!.

My Off Day

I am so glad to have an off day. I actually did wake up in time to go to church, but the thought of not dressing up and just hanging around at home was too much to resist.
I really like my apartment, it is clean. I got a burst of energy last week and cleaning was how I spent it. I love those chlorox clean cloths. How cool. My plants are all alive, I only get plants I really like and that do well getting forgotten all week.
I took out the trash Saturday so that I don't have to leave the apt. at all. I crochet and watch dvd movies.
I actually cooked today, well cooking for me, I boiled the spagetti noodles and added canned spagetti sause. Wow haven't done that in a year or two. haha.
My squirel friend came by last evening, I am glad I cleaned out the water dish. I don't want any liter boxes so I am happy seeing the squirel and a couple of doves that visit my deck.
Ok going to play some more computer games now. Roll Tide

McMichael's Visit - Arrival

The noon whistle blew in Oklahoma City and then my phone rang. It was my parents letting me know that Bonnie and her family had arrived at the Great Grandparents house. GPS is magic! After a short visit there they loaded into 2 cars and started out. Granddad, BJ and Autumn came straight here while the others went to Taco Bell to pick up "saturday lunch" (we always have tacos on saturday). I was able to show Autumn around the apartment and give her a gift "just for her" a beading kit I put together. She seemed very happy. The others arrived and lots of hugs were shared. Lunch was fun and filling. Granddad had written a short list of blessings he read to us "Things I am thankful for" ie..the car trouble was on clear, rainfree daylight time on trafficed part of town, not in a dark, back roads time. After pulling out toys for the kids Bonnie and I visited with Great Granny while BJ and Graddad visited. Granddad is so good to the children and the Great Grandchildren. Each knows he loves them and is special. After a few hours they returned home and the rest of us went to Uncle Wayne and Aunt Lyn's house after a stop at KFC to pick up Dinner (Uncle Wayne's treat) we had a wonderful 2 hours out there. The dogs should have slept well when we left. I am praying for Autumn she has a bad tooth and won't say anything (she is terrified of dentist) so I watch her and her Mom gives her tylenol. I pray for a continued blessed trip. Pallet made up in my room for the little ones for bedtime. We all hit the hay about 11:15PM and that ended our first day.

Happy 4th of July

Prayers, Blessing and Thank You to all of our past, present and future Military folks and their Families for all they have done, are doing and will do for us.
I was going to our churches special service today but trying to make good use of my extra time I was restocking my work first aid kit that we have used at work I found one of my epipens and messing around with it I managed to eject it into my left thumb. Oh My Gosh!!!! I did call the Dial A Nurse on the back of my insurance card, she listened and put me through to Poison Control Center. Long story short I am home full of energy giving epinephrine and the shaking has passed. The warm soaks are helping my sore, frozen, numb thumb. As long as it doesn't turn black (white and or blue are ok) I don't have to go to the hospital. I kept myself under control when it happened thankfully because having such a rush and my heart going so freaking fast was almost a call 911 moment, haha. That is why they call them stupid home accidents.
My Mom just called and said my Dad ordered a DVD of todays service so I won't miss it.
I was home for my eldest Daughter Heather's call so it was worth being home for that. Ok enough for now more thumb soaking time.

Back on the computer

My computer has fixed itself. My cat in petville did go to the pound but I bailed her out. lol Two of my little computer game buddies got me playing Frontierville and one other one. Oh well at least I am having fun. I am doing a teeny bit better at writing letters since I cleared my desk area. My long time pen pal was terminal and has gone to be with the Lord. I miss writing her so I try to double up on my soldier pen pals. They don't get any bad news from me just funny or everyday stuff. It may be boring but who cares what you read in the latrine hahaha. Work is fine I get a fair work out toting boxes full of charts. Soon we will be starting on the 2009 boxes then we will be done, wow. I try to be helpful everywhere I can. I have been impressed in my Spirit to Be Quiet. That sounds strange especially for me a motor mouth but I am really trying everyday to not talk unless it is important to my job. I remind myself that a good servant is never seen or noticed. Why this is important I don't know but I feel like it is. I am praying for several people several times a day. God knows who they are and knows what they need better than me. I am watching a DVD series that my Dad owns about the World War 2 by Dr.Childers. It is cool, we can discuss it together. Mother reads a book series and then I do and we talk about that. It is fun to have something in common that has no immediate importance just cool stuff to talk about. Blessings to all.

My Computer

I have gotten attached to my computer and the games I play on it. For some reason I can't access my Facebook. I hope my cat in Petville doesn't die, I know I will have to pay the fine to get her out of the pound (if you don't feed them they get picked up). Some nights I sleep great and others not so well. I crash into bed between 6:30-9PM every night with all this manual labor at work then I am up between 4-5AM daily. Last night I woke up every 2 hours. I am awake and bright eyed so I guess it doesn't matter. I hope the insomnia cycle isn't starting again. I can't get on facebook so I sit here drinking coffee and typing, watching the clock for when I can leave for work. I crochet all the time and such sad news - my yarn has gone up in price. I use my yarn wisely. I actually have moments of time when I am not crocheting. I watch DVD movies on my little player since I don't have a tv in the living room. I enjoy going to Blockbuster and buying the sales movies. I can wait to see them until they go one sale and then I can watch them over and over. Hey at least I am happy, haha. Ok time to load up and head out. Everybody find something to be happy about today. God is still in control thankfully cause none of us are.
